Bellotto: the 18th-century artist who assisted Warsaw in reviving itself from World War II

Between 23 September 2022 and 10 January 2023, the Royal Castle in Warsaw will host a new exhibition featuring the works of Bernardo Bellotto, generally known as Canaletto in Poland. This exhibition will commemorate the 300th anniversary of the painter’s birth. Many of the artist’s vedutas, or landscape paintings of the city, are already on show in the castle’s permanent collection.
