Saakashvili promises to visit Ukraine with an official visit next month

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili next month will arrive to Ukraine with an official visit, during which he will hold meetings with a number of officials, in particular with the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych.

He said this on Tuesday in Kiev, where he takes part in several international conferences.

"In the coming month I will arrive with the official visit to Ukraine and meet with everyone" - said the president of Georgia, answering journalists' questions about whether he has scheduled official meetings with the Ukrainian leadership.

According to Saakashvili he will meet with President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, with whom he said he has "great relationships".

"I have a great sympathy for the current government and to all political leaders (in Ukraine) - regardless if the person is in power or in opposition," - Saakashvili said.

Meanwhile, he asked do not search in his arrival any connotations. Kiev Saakashvili considers as a hometown. And he arrives in Ukraine to learn more about the country and meet with friends.
