Activity of voters' turnout in the presidential election in Georgia, on Sunday, Oct. 27, reached 46.6%.

 

"According to the CEC, in the elections took part 1648000 662 voters, about 46.6%".

Before the elections in Georgia were registered 3,537,000 719 voters.

Shortly after preliminary results of exit poll were published, presidential candidate of the National Movement, David Bakradze congratulated the candidate of the Georgian Dream George Margvelashvili with a victory in the presidential election.

In his televised speech, David Bakradze, said: "As the leader of the opposition, I will be ready to continue working with the government to ensure that our country has moved forward and the people would live better, as the leader of the opposition, I would be willing to work with the new president and offer it cooperation" .

"After the confirmation of the results by the CEC, I'll be ready to recognize the election results and submit them as an expression of the will of the Georgian people; I congratulate Margvelashvily on winning and thank everyone who came to the elections today," - said Bakradze.

At the same time, he congratulated the people of Georgia with the peaceful conduct of the elections, and George Margvelashvily on his election as President of Georgia.
