The President of Georgia opened the Georgian-Italian venture for the production of cheese

The President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili opened a new enterprise near Tbilisi. He visited the Georgian-Austrian enterprise Cheese Eco in the Lilo.


Here are produced 10 varieties of cheese, including the Georgian national "Suluguni" and "Imeruli" as well as Italian mozzarella, and others. About 700 people are employed.
Mikheil Saakashvili got acquainted with the work of the factory in which was invested $ 6 million. He expressed satisfaction with such investment, stating that the Georgian government is doing everything to attract foreign investors.


"They are building here companies and provide our citizens with work, besides they pay substantial funds in the budget, which is also on the development of our country," said Saakashvili.


Aggregates for businesses were brought from Italy. Recently products of Cheese Eco will be on the shelves of shops in Tbilisi. And later will be sold throughout Georgia.
