WIZZ AIR will fly from Kutaisi to Kiev, Kharkov, Donetsk and Warsaw

Hungary's low budget airline WIZZ AIR from April, 1 2013 will be carried out from the international airport of Kutaisi additional flights to Kiev, Kharkov, Donetsk and Warsaw.

In the direction of Kiev flights will be operated every day in Donetsk - three times a week, and in Warsaw and Kharkov - twice a week. This was announced at a press conference at the hotel "Radisson", which was attended by Deputy Economy Minister Dmitry Kumsishvili, Director of the airports' Association of Georgia Ketevan Aleksidze and executive vice president of airline WIZZ AIR - Head of the Ukrainian representative office John Stephenson.

According to Dmitry Kumsishvili, rates offered by WIZZ AIR passengers will allow Georgian tour operators to attract more foreign tourists to Georgia.

"This decision will not only develop tourism, but will also provide an opportunity for citizens of Georgia to travel to Europe with minimal expenses. In addition, it will positively affect the development of the Kutaisi Airport ", - said Kumsishvili.

At the request of the Vice-President of the WIZZ AIR John Stephenson, the company provides very cheaply fly to Europe, as Poland is a kind of transportation hub, and additional flights to Kiev, Kharkov and Donetsk visiting Ukraine for less price.

WIZZ AIR entered the Georgian market on September 27, 2012. Today the company has direct flights from Kutaisi to Kiev. Flights are operated three times a week. To date, the airline has already transported more than 16,000 passengers.
