The cost of a new program of the Government of Georgia is 20 billion GEL

Over the next four years, from the budget for the pensions financing will be allocated 6 billion, health insurance - 3 billion Gel, and social aid - 3 billion GEL, the support of the village - 4 billion Gel, Financing Education - 4 billion GEL.

These costs are presented in the new government's program "More benefit for people," which has already been filed in the Parliament for consideration.

The program states that the purpose of pension schemes in the next 4 years will be spent 6 billion GEL, which means that in 2013 the retirement package will be equivalent to 100 U.S. dollars and exceeds the subsistence minimum.


It is also noted that health insurance will be an integral part of the retirement package and no one of pensioners will afraid to use health services. In the next 4 years for health insurance will be spent 3 billion GEL. Insurance will be provided for each citizen.


The program notes that in 2006 an insurance policy had 40,000 citizens; from the 1st of September will be insured 1.9 million people. At the same time half a million people already have insurance policies of private companies, and only from September, 1st will be insured 2.4 million people. However, the government is committed to insurance all citizens.


As for the 3 billion GEL, intended for social assistance, the main goal here is to create jobs, however, before every family obtains stable income, the government will provide social assistance to the needy.
In the program is noted that in 2013 social assistance will be larger and will be directed to the needs of every socially vulnerable people.


To spend four billion GEL, designed for development of agriculture, the authorities plan to ensure water supply of villages, the completion of the gasification program, maintenance of rural roads as well as the purchase of agricultural machinery. Herewith will be created over 500 new agricultural enterprises will be carried out irrigation of more than 90,000 hectares of land and will be made the drainage system for 35 thousand hectares.


Designed for the education system 4 billion GEL, the government will spend for the rehabilitation and construction of new schools, insurance of all students.


In this direction of the program is noted as well as the fact that the average salary for certified teachers will be 600 GEL, and 25% of the best teachers will get 1,000 GEL. The government also plans to spend this amount on the transfer of computers all first graders and high achievers, as well as for the appointment of scholarships to all successful students. At the same time will be continued and expanded program of summer employment of students.
